What is a Retained Firefighter and what do they do?
Retained Firefighters are a diverse group of people who balance work and family commitments to work on an ‘on call’ part-time basis for FRNSW. They are trained to work as a team, and deal with emergencies such as fires, road accidents and hazardous material spillages.
