New Badgerys Creek Fire Station

On 16 June 2025, the Minns Labor Government announced the location for Fire and Rescue NSW's new Badgerys Creek Fire Station.

Construction of the facility, on Adams Road in Luddenham, is expected to commence later in 2025, with completion due by late 2026. With the new station spanning approximately 1,200 square metres, it will be the largest in Western Sydney.

The NSW Government has committed to recruiting 52 new firefighters to staff the 24/7 station with a $42.2 million investment.

Alongside the recently opened Busby and Oran Park fire stations, Badgerys Creek Fire Station will strengthen FRNSW's emergency response capability in the western Sydney region.

The build follows local land use collaboration with Department of Planning and Environment, Liverpool City Council, and Sydney Water.

Station facilities:

Badgerys Creek Fire Station will proudly house three fire trucks - a heavy rescue vehicle, a rescue pumper and a pumper.

The station will feature designated 'clean' zones to prevent the spread of hazardous particulate matter collected from fire scenes, improving firefighter safety and health.

The building will have training rooms, fitness amenities, and dedicated wash areas to support the health and wellbeing of the 13 firefighters rostered on each shift.
