House Fire - Dareton

Shortly before 2:30pm this afternoon, Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to a house fire on Millie St, Dareton after reports of bedroom alight.
Wentworth Fire Station and crews from the NSW Rural Fire Service arrived to find a house fully involved with fire and occupants had self evacuated.
Crews quickly established fire protection to nearby houses in an effort to contain the blaze.
Firefighters worked for over an hour to attack the fire from the outside of the residence, before gaining control and extinguishing the blaze.
The house has been totally destroyed by fire.
NSW Police and NSW Ambulance were on scene, no injuries were sustained by the incident.
