Shop Fire - Riverstone

Fire and Rescue NSW attended a shop fire this morning in Riverstone.
On arrival fire crews were directed to a shop with smoke issuing from the roof.
Crews using forcible entry tools and power saws made entry and found a large fire within the kitchen area.
The fire was quickly brought under control stopping it spreading to surrounding shops and residences however the shop was extensively damage by the fire. Numerous people were evacuated and eventually allowed to return.
Investigations into the cause are ongoing.
