Factory Fire - Moorebank

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) has contained a fire in a factory on Bapaume Rd, Moorebank.
Firefighters were called to the premises at approximately 9.30 am and found a rapidly growing fire in the single-level factory with flames through the roof. Additional resources were called to help battle the blaze.
At the height of the incident, there were over 30 fire engines and 120 firefighters in attendance as well as senior officers and hazardous materials experts.
The fire was contained at 10:40 am and crews are continuing to direct large streams of water into various deep-seated hotspots.
FRNSW is working with the NSW Environment Protection Authority to contain the runoff of contaminated water.
