Shipwright Fire - Drummoyne

More than 50 Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters have battled a major blaze this afternoon at a Drummoyne marina.
Fire crews and Hazardous Materials teams arrived at a burning shipwright's business in St Georges Crescent just after 2pm.
They found thick, black smoke bellowing out of the marina building.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters entered the building to search for occupants amongst flammable supplies of fuels and paint, as well as machinery and electrical equipment.
Two people were located safe and well.
Fire crews quickly took control of the blaze.
The building continues to smoulder whilst two nearby apartments were also damaged by the fire.
The Port Authority of NSW also responded to the blaze, containing run off into Sydney Harbour with booms.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
