Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have helped rescue a woman from a car that crashed, becoming suspended on a fence at Mosman, on Sydney's north shore.
The 70-year-old woman reversed out of her garage in Awaba Street just after 11am when the car careered into a neighbour's fence and bushes.
Fire crews from Mosman and Crows Nest stabilised the vehicle before attempting to extricate the trapped driver.
The woman, who has mobility issues, was carefully removed by FRNSW and Police Rescue crews.
She was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics but did not suffer any injuries.
FRNSW are waiting for a crane to remove the car.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) when you are involved in or see a crash can be the difference between life and death.
The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.
