Firefighters extinguish house fire - South Windsor

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have extinguished a major house fire this morning at South Windsor, in Sydney's north-west.
Flames engulfed the two-storey home in Mileham Street around 8.15am.
Eight fire trucks rushed to the address and around 30 firefighters quickly accounted for the home's occupants and their pets, who escaped the blaze via a verandah roof.
Crews established a defensive perimeter around the home and doused the fire.
The cause of the blaze is still being determined.
