Seven hospitalised in separate crashes, 100m apart - Leppington

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have assisted at the scene of two separate road crashes, 100 metres apart, today at Leppington, in Sydney's south west.
The crashes occurred in the westbound lanes of Bringelly Road, just before 8.30am.
Three cars collided in the first incident which was quickly followed by the second impact, also involving three vehicles, further along the road.
Seven people have been hospitalised...five taken to Liverpool Hospital and two to Campbelltown Hospital.
Two children, from a family of five, have been treated for shock whilst another person has suffered a broken leg.
Three FRNSW trucks, including a Hazmat appliance, were dispatched to the scene, along with NSW Police, NSW Ambulance, the Rural Fire Service and Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).
The road was blocked for almost an hour whilst oil was mopped up and the scene cleared.
Authorities are determining what caused the crashes.
