Published: 24 Oct 2022 04:45pm

Additional Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) resources have rolled into northern NSW today, as firefighters set up an emergency services 'base of operations' (BOO) to support flood-impacted communities.

Located at Broughton Oval in Moree, the BOO is a joint initiative between FRNSW and the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS).

It is designed to accommodate up to 150 emergency personnel who may be called upon from other parts of NSW or interstate if the flooding situation worsens.

The semi-trailer load of tents, stretchers and other supplies arrived from Sydney this afternoon.
