MEDIA ALERT: Safety warnings amid spate of dangerous lithium-ion battery blazes in NSW - Sydney

The Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Commissioner and Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading will address media this morning in relation to a spate of lithium-ion battery fires across the state.

There have been at least 13 such fires in eight days and a recent government survey suggests although many households are aware of the dangers, they are ignoring crucial safety advice.
