SAWTELL | A large pile of green waste is burning at the old Sawtell sewage treatment works. The fire is contained to the pile and poses no risk, however there is a large amount of smoke in the area. Residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed. View on X [external link]

RIVERWOOD | A family of ducks became separated today when one was stranded in a box up a tree. The #FRNSW crew from Riverwood Fire Stn quickly rose to the occasion by using an extension ladder.
